Gratuity is calculated using the formula: (15 × Last Drawn Salary × Years of Service) ÷ 26. Last drawn salary includes basic pay plus dearness allowance.
Leave encashment is calculated as: (Leave Balance × Last Salary) ÷ 30. The maximum leave balance that can be encashed is 300 days.
Pension is calculated as 50% of the last drawn salary (basic + dearness allowance).
You can commute up to 40% of your pension for a lump sum amount. The commuted amount is calculated as: Commuted Pension × 12 × Commutation Factor. The commutation factor is based on your age at retirement.
The commuted portion of the pension is restored after 15 years from the date of retirement.
